SyF Revolver Pro – Free Vegas Pro Plugins

Get a free OFX door transition for Vegas Pro and swing your clips open on a hinge in one click!

The SyF Revolver Pro tips your outgoing clip away around the edge you choose, like a door swinging open, while the incoming clip hangs on the same hinge and swings into place behind it. The fold is drawn with real perspective, so it looks like a solid door instead of a flat squash. Add motion blur and a snappy overshoot, and let GPU acceleration keep playback smooth as you work.

Description

A Free OFX Door Transition With Real Perspective

The SyF Revolver Pro is a free OFX door transition for Vegas Pro that mounts your two clips on opposite faces of one revolving door. The outgoing clip tips away from the camera around the hinge edge you choose, while the incoming clip hangs on the same hinge, a quarter turn behind it, and swings into place. The cut reads as one continuous door swinging open instead of two separate clips.

Pick Your Hinge

An Anchor Point dropdown picks which edge the door hinges on, and a Fall Direction option sets which way it swings:

  • Left, Right, Top, Bottom: the edge the door pivots around.
  • Forward or Backward: whether the outgoing clip falls away from you or toward you.

Perspective That Looks Real

The swinging clip is drawn with true perspective in both directions, so the far edge shrinks as the door tips away, the way a real door does, instead of just squeezing flat. It gives the move depth that a basic flip transition doesn’t have.

Motion Blur That Looks Real

The blur is based on a simulated camera shutter, so it stretches with the speed of the swing instead of being a flat smear. Two independent sliders, Strength (how smooth) and Length (how long the trail), let you dial in a look without fighting one setting to fix another. Want a clean, crisp swing instead? Turn motion blur off.

Control the Feel

Three more controls shape how the door behaves:

  • Pull Back & Overshoot: a small wind-up before the swing and a settle after it, like a heavy door catching its stop. Turn it off for a single clean ease.
  • Snappiness (0 to 100): at 0 the swing is perfectly linear. At 100 it eases in slowly, snaps fast through the middle, then eases out.
  • Mirror Edges: when on, any area the swinging clips don’t cover is filled with mirrored image. When off, it stays fully transparent so the layer underneath shows through.

Works on Titles and Overlays

The transition keeps the transparency of your clips, so you can use it on text, titles, and PNG overlays without a solid black background showing up behind them.

GPU-Accelerated, With a Real Fallback Chain

The render tries an NVIDIA CUDA device first (RTX 20 series and newer, including the RTX 50 series), falls back to OpenCL for any other GPU, and only drops to the CPU if neither is available. One checkbox turns GPU acceleration off.
