The SyF Film Emulation Pro layers a genuine film-stock LUT with procedural grain, halation, gate weave, and flicker, so you can dial in anything from subtle 35mm texture to heavy, damaged vintage stock, all live inside VEGAS Pro.

Film Stock LUT Library

Choose from a library of built-in film stock presets, then blend the look in at any intensity so it complements your grade instead of overpowering it.

Procedural Film Grain

Switch between Basic hash noise or organic Perlin-based grain, with independent controls for strength, scale, and softness, so grain never looks like a repeating digital pattern.

Halation & Highlight Softness

Recreate the warm glow real film stock produces around bright highlights, with adjustable softness so it can be subtle or full vintage-bloom.

Gate Weave, Flicker & Damage

Add authentic projector gate weave, brightness flicker, and stock damage for a genuinely aged, analog feel — or leave them off for a clean modern-film look.

Broadcast-Safe Legalize

Run the installer.
(Note for Windows Users: As an indie developer, you may see a blue SmartScreen warning upon installation. Click “More Info” -> “Run Anyway” to install.)

Open VEGAS Pro and navigate to the Video FX tab. At the top, you’ll see:
